Frozen Moment #11

Time stopped

Emotions choking

Salty tears, Bleeding heart;

A scream lodged in my throat.

Voiceless.

    1. Thank you. This is actually a very real thing for me, rather than a metaphor. I literally cannot scream. Where most people would scream their lungs with frustration or sorrow, or anything, I just can’t. So this little snippet was born as an outlet for the frustration born of that inability.

      I’m doing better, hun. Not lingering over the past, just moving forward. There is no point to the former, and plenty that needs doing in the latter, so the choice is a no-brainer. But that doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten. It only means that I’m dealing with it.

      I’m sorry I haven’t been around recently. Looking forward to getting around again. 🙂 How have you been?
