Frozen Moment #3

A wight you are

To thus lead me on

And I, blind

To silently follow.

      1. I’m sure you do. And you deserve a commendation for it. Such patience you must have! I couldn’t imagine it! But I think there are many of us who are thankful for having been found by you. Me included! 🙂

  1. I like the evocation of this almost obsolete meaning of the word “wight”. Like a sprite within a human’s heart, goading the other one. Loved the imagery!

    1. I like fantasy and mythical things, so I knew there could be no other term or symbol I could use, other than ‘wight’. So glad someone’s caught it! It holds the entire meaning of the poem. Thank you so much for writing in.
