If I was a tear,
Could I connect with your heart,
Like the rain can unite,
The eternally separated earth and sky?

Leave you Spellbound
Love is love and everything else is something else
We all feel....but differently!
...within me, around me.
"The silence of the night awakens my soul"
Sometimes, on rare occasions, continents collide.
Living life like there is a tomorrow
Pain goes in, love comes out.
An Exploration Of My Soul
Facing the unknown... one questionable life choice at a time.

…indeed, the rain falls from the tear ducts of heaven. This is indeed very moving…although I sometimes feel that earth and heaven are not that separated…in fact they are very much intertwined here in this world…. ?!?

Ah, Welcome back! So good to hear from you again! You would be right; earth and heaven are intertwined in this world. But then I’ve tried to build the bridge between the earth and the sky, so I hope that would be different. What do you think?

…ah interesting concept! The wise ones say that what happens here on earth mimics what happens in the heavens…As above, so below…. so the tear falling on the face is a microcosm of the bigger cosmic picture! Yes, it is our destiny to seek out or else build these bridges with whatever tools we have to hand. Thanks for the Welcome back and I will do my best to keep in touch. I find as I get older I am getting more tired after gardening now…must try and strike the right balance. Just off out again to tidy and prune…Have a happy Sunday! 🙂

Yes, indeed. The tear to a single drop of rain. I found it rather poignant. So glad you like it! Ah yes, gardening is tiring work, but it is also refreshing and satisfying to work on a little piece of soil, watching over growing green things. Enjoy the day!! 🙂

…I love connecting with the earth in such a literal way and getting my hands dirty! Did 3 hours work this afternoon, the birds were singing away, the sun was shining…what more do I need? I was digging up invasive weeds…couch grass, ground elder, dandelions and nettles! A wild garden is not the desired effect, at least not yet…..Hope your day was bright and sunny also?! Thank you! 🙂

What a wonderful and soothing description. Thank you for sharing it with me. Well, you’ve just started in on your garden, and weeds are hardy little nuisances. Slowly but surely, you’ll bring it around to what you want your garden to be. 🙂 And yes, I had a good day too. A bit too bright and sunny for my taste, but enjoyable all the same. 🙂

…Can it ever be too bright and sunny? Lol! We never ever get that here in Scotland…so cold and wet a lot of the time. John and I run our own self employed gardening business so this is us gardening for other people who pay us for this work. We try and meet their needs and wants and provide all sorts of gardening services! Good to speak and I have heard from Manan and been accepted…I take it I will receive new posts on my reader as usual…I am not the greatest with technology lol! 🙂

🙂 Yes, I suppose ‘too sunny’ would be a rare weather condition for Scotland. But doesn’t the wet at least help with maintaining the soil you work with? Gosh! Gardening services! You must have been right popular when you started. But at least you’re doing what you love and enjoy, which is great!
Good to know Manan responded to you. Everyone can continue as usual now. And those who prefer to work in a more hands-on way, often do not like technology. My mum’s the same. She’d rather open a book than read anything on the computer. 🙂

…yes, the rain does help to keep gardens watered and prevents drought though we can at times have far too much rain…then we get flooding and gardens become waterlogged. Yes I am lucky to be doing what I enjoy, as too does my husband! That along with the organ playing…I can identify with your mum enjoying reading from a good olde-fashioned “book”! I’m the same at times! 🙂

Thank you! I’m trying my hand at quatrains, having been inspired by Sarah Doughty over at Heartstring Eulogies. Glad I’ve done well enough for a second attempt.

lovely poem Ruth, I like the idea of rain uniting the earth and sky. What a lovely image that is.

Isn’t it just! 🙂 Was thinking about the rains (I love rains!) and the rivers and the connection water has with life. And then this came out of nowhere. So glad you like it!

No making people blush with your lovely comments of appreciation. 😉 Thank you for them, though. They are always looked for, as much as your thoughts on the respective topics.

You’re welcome 🙂 I like to call attention to talent and point out the good. Too many point out the reverse.

That’s far too true. I wonder why people prefer to hurt each other rather than just be nice. Its easier to be nice, I think. So many more options for fun! 🙂

Ah, a slight snag first though. This will be my first collaboration with anyone at all, so I have no idea how to go about it. So how about we catch up at around this time tomorrow, and you can point me through the hoops and we can get down to rowing this boat! Eh?

I would love to collab with you! I don’t know if I can do this time tomorrow. I’m in NY and this time will be smack dab in the middle of the work day for me. Tomorrow I also have a bunch of meetings. It will be quieter come Tuesday though. We could also do this correspondence-style over Google docs. Do you have access? I can share a doc with you and we can start working this out. It will be so much fun!
